Badges are SAFA's way of recognising what you've done on the pitch — not just in one match, but across your entire career. They track the goals you've scored, the clean sheets you've kept, the seasons you've shown up for, and the rare moments that most stats pages forget.
They live on your profile. Other players can see them. And every match you play brings you closer to the next one.
Every goal you've scored. Every clean sheet you've been part of. Every season you've shown up to. SAFA has been tracking all of it.
And it's been turning those moments into something you can collect, upgrade, and display.
22 badges. Four tiers each. All yours to chase.
The Four Tiers
Every badge starts at Bronze and climbs. Each tier asks more than the last. Hit the top threshold and you're at Ultimate — maxed permanently.
What Progression Looks Like
Take Double Trouble — score 2+ goals in a single match. Here's a player climbing through the tiers:
Progress updates automatically after every match. No buttons to click, no forms to fill. You play, you hit a threshold, the badge upgrades.
All 22 Badges
Single-match heroics. Big games, big numbers, big moments.
Long-haul rewards. Career totals, season-long consistency, completed campaigns. These don't care about one big game — they care that you turn up every week.
End-of-season recognition. You only get this if you finished near the top.
The rare ones. Career-spanning effort or elite-tier production. If you see one of these on someone's profile, take it seriously.
Where to Find Your Badges
Two places. One where you manage them. One where everyone sees them.
Your Badge Hub
This is where you track progress, see what you've earned, and choose which badges to feature on your profile. To get there:
From your hub you can see all 22 badges, your progress toward each tier, and which ones are currently pinned to your profile. Use the Show on Profile button on any earned badge to feature it. Hit Remove from Profile to take it off.
Your Player Profile
When another player visits your profile — by clicking your name anywhere on the site — they'll see your featured badges on display alongside your stats and recent matches.
Only pinned badges show here. If you haven't pinned any yet, your badge section will be empty. So go pin them.
Show Them Off
You can feature up to 9 badges on your profile. Pick the ones you're proudest of.
Swap them out any time. The tier you've reached — Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Ultimate — shows on each badge, so people know exactly how far you've pushed it.
How Badges Get Awarded
Almost everything is automatic. After every match, when stats are confirmed, the system checks every threshold. Cross one, the badge appears — no claim button, no waiting.
Seasonal badges (like Top 5 Player) land when the season closes out. Everything else is instant.
What Counts
All seasons count for goal, assist, and appearance milestones — including historical seasons.
Detailed stat badges (saves, tackles, pass accuracy, clean sheets) count from Season 4 onwards.
Hat-trick badges require per-match data, so they're Season 5+ only.
