Q: Was there a standout performer for your side?
"Another clean sheet tonight — the backline delivered again. Not only did they keep the opposition out, but they also stepped up with the winning goal. Our CBs stood out, but this was a complete performance — full credit to the entire backline and the GK."
Q: Which partnership on the pitch impressed you the most?
"It has to be the CB partnership — one setting it up, the other finishing the winner in an open play. Unreal scenes in our voice chat when that went in."
Q: Do you feel your team is hitting form at the right time?
"We’re getting results, which is important, especially after the last two defeats. But we know there’s a lot more in us. Being 4th is a good position, and winning it late shows character, but we don’t want to rely on moments — we want to control games better and perform consistently. So yes, it’s a step in the right direction, but the focus is on improving while making sure the results keep coming, no matter how."
Q: How do you keep the squad grounded after a result like this?
"We focus on what we did well, but we’re honest about where we can improve. It’s about staying consistent, staying humble (Like Haaland) and making sure the next performance is better, regardless of the result."
Both sides now shift their focus to the next fixture.
