DECK is SAFA's free club-vs-club competition and the way into SAFA for clubs outside the Pro League. Play nights, earn monthly points, qualify for the Monthly Masters and build your club's record.

    Create your club

    Any club registered on SAFA can enter DECK, including brand-new clubs. Entry is by club, not by player. The person who creates it is its Manager; add an Assistant Manager so someone can always check in.

    Get your Discord club role linked

    On a DECK night your Manager and Assistant Managers are added to a private channel (for example #deck-42) with every other club playing, and pinged when your match is ready. SAFA links your club's Discord role once — ask for it in a support ticket.

    Register for a DECK

    Registration for Monday–Sunday opens every Monday. Registering on the day of a DECK checks you in straight away. Registered for a later night? Check in on the night during the check-in window — not checking in is fine, with no penalty. Checking in is a commitment to play: you can withdraw until 60 minutes before check-in closes, and after that a no-show is a strike.

    Play your first match

    When the site says MATCH READY, join your opponent — clubs are expected in the lobby within about 15 minutes. After the game, submit the final score in My match (a screenshot is optional); your opponent confirms it (or it confirms automatically after 10 minutes). Lose your first game? You drop into the Plate for a second one.

DECK in 60 seconds

  1. Register for any DECK this week. Same-day registration checks you in; registered earlier? Check in on the night. A DECK runs if at least 6 clubs check in.
  2. It's a knockout on weeknights (with the Plate) and groups then knockout on Super Sunday.
  3. Your best 12 results each month count toward the monthly table.
  4. Top 4 of the month qualify free for the Monthly Masters.
  5. Checked-in clubs can withdraw until 60 minutes before check-in closes. Checked in and didn't show? That's a strike. Two in 30 days: suspended for the next 3 DECKs. Three: 7 days.
